Military Madness - Broken?

It looks like my cold feet concerns about downloading Military Madness yesterday were well warranted. Chalk it up to ESP. Several people on the Hudson boards are complaining about issues relating from poor emulation.

Covak was the first forumite to bring this to our attention, and I think he summarizes everyones concerns pretty well;

When you scroll your view the game isn't supposed to chug with severe screen tearing and stuttering music, is it? Because that's what I get as soon as I get to map 4 and scroll up/down. I don't want to play it like that.

Is anyone else experiencing Broken Emulation Madness?

[...] If you’ll forgive my editorializing for a minute, I’d just like to voice my utter disappointment with Hudson. When the VC first hit a little over a month ago, Hudson seemed to be the only company to have their head screwed on right. They were priced appropriately, they were posting games everybody could get excited about - they started out as the model that all othe companies should have been looking to. But rather quickly, things unravelled. First it was Military Madness - a game with broken emulation that Hudson has refused to comment on, patch, or pull. Then it was R-Type being priced 200 points above all of their previous releases. Now its this - a week without a new title despite the fact that the site has promised one. Not cool Hudson. Not cool at all. Bookmark Us! - thebbps.com by jimmycanuck, January 1st, 2007 Posted in news, wii, turbo grafx 16 | Help Make Us Famous! Use the trackback link for this story. [...]
