I dunno... for an all 80's edition of Guitar Hero I was expecting more. Maybe they're saving most of the "good" songs to announce later on, but am I really supposed to be excited about this list?? Newly announced songs in bold.

  • 18 and Life (as made famous by Skid Row)

  • Bathroom Wall (as made famous by Faster Pussycat)

  • Lonely is the Night (as made famous by Billy Squier)

  • Nothing But a Good Time (as made famous by Poison)

  • Play With Me (as made famous by Extreme)

  • Shaken (as made famous by Eddie Money)

  • Synchronicity II (as made famous by Police)

  • I Wanna Rock (by Twisted Sister)

  • I Ran (by Flock of Seagulls)

  • Round and Round (as made famous by Ratt)

  • I Want Candy (as made famous by Bow Wow Wow)

  • Metal Health (as made famous by Quiet Riot)

  • Holy Diver (as made famous by Dio)

  • Heat Of The Moment (as made famous by Asia)

I mean don't get me wrong, it's 80's music so I know it'll suck.... but it can at least be cheesy fun. But Billy Squier? Are you serious?

I'm giddy for the Skid Row, Poison and Police songs they picked, but the rest is rubbish. There are much better Extreme songs and there's never any reason to include Eddie Money in anything to do with music.

Just an extra tidbit - it looks like there will be 30 songs in total. Can we say "expansion pack"?

It's Poser Hero. What a huge letdown.

I would've thought Guitar Hero would contain songs with rippin' guitar tracks. Not lame, 2 power chord poser bands who spend more time on thier makeup than thier musicianship.

The 80s were the Golden Age of Metal. Why is it only these lame chick-metal bands that get remembered? Where's the Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Exodus, Overkill, Slayer, Testament, Death Angel, Ozzy, Venom, Motorhead, Saxon, Celtic Frost, Armored Saint, Voivod, Flotsom and Jetsom or Yngwie? That's just off the top of my head.

I never thought I'd have to say this again, but "FUCK POSER METAL!!!!"

Where is bloody White Wedding? And Dancing with Myself? And Jessie's Girl or any other Rick Springfield song for that matter...

It's rubbish. It really is. There is no 80's without those songs...
