smb3_thumb.jpgIn the blood-red wake of Captain N and Zelda: The Complete Animated Series comes The Adventures Of Super Mario Bros. 3: The Complete Series. Seriously, that's the title.

This 3 disc set hits stores (with deafening THUD! of suck) on June 5th. I hold SMB 3, the game, on the highest of honors in gaming. To me, along with Tetris it's the best game ever made. Even though I've never seen this series, or even knew that it existed, I can guarantee that it's not going to be any good. If spending your time watching crap like this is your choice than hey, who am I to judge your crappy taste in TV?

The show was actually half-decent. I haven't seen Captain N, only heard about it, so I can't compare too well. I've seen some episodes of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3, though, and it's enjoyable even now. They made that series very close to the original game, and as such it's full of cliches. The music is mostly remixed, with a few fun vocal tracks to sing along. I'll be getting this once it's released. smilies/smiley.gif

It's 80's schlock. It amuses me.

Same thing with Captain N.

I watched both of those when I was a kid.
