It\'s An Odd, Odd World Bitches!

Lively Lord Lorne Lanning let loose a little leak that should be to your liking (phew!): his studio is currently working on another game based on the Oddworld...world. That franchise has always been known for their cinematic storytelling and this new entry looks to try and blur the line between game and film-quality animation:

The rendering tools are getting so good now for 3D animation that you can literally create a linear animation and create a video game using the exact same objects.

I have the first two Playstation entries and Oddworld Stranger's Wrath sitting on my shelf, unplayed. Always meant to get around to them.

Munch's Oddysee was easily my favorite of the Xbox launch titles. GREAT game. Why in the hell isn't it on the Xbox Originals program yet?
