If you're one of those people who was wondering why anyone would bother with playing Neo Geo games on the Virtual Console sans proper arcade stick, wonder no more. A joint venture of SNK-Playmore and Sega Logistics, the Neo Geo Stick 2 will work with both Virtual Console titles and select Wii titles. Assume any fighters that may appear on the system to make excellent use of this -- Super Smash Bros anyone?

Near as I can tell these are going to be a Japan-only release. That being said, you can already pre-order one on Play-Asia for $59.90. Expect the Neo Geo Stick 2 to see it's land of the rising sun release on April 10th.

Only problem's the price tag. Yeowch. D:

I'm assuming this is basically a Classic Controller, except it's an arcade stick.
