The Fall deluge of games continues, with it would appear like something for everyone. For me, there's 3 games here I'd love to get my hands on (Skate, Heavenly and Jam Sessions).

This also marks the first A+++ title for the PS3 that's an original IP. Will it live up to it's expectations, or will be another Lair?

Warhawk is the first AAA title. I got to the tow cable around the beasts legs in Lair (I don't even know why they would put the Hoth scene ripoff in the game), and that was the final straw. Lair = trade in credit for Heavenly Sword. I like Skate a lot, but I'll have to wait until it drops in price. Gotta save for that $129 Legendary Halo 3 set!

ahhh, your assumption about Warhawk may be right, but I was saying it's the first AAA title that's an original property, Warhawk was on the PS1.

I meant it was the first game without any history that would have to stand on it's own smilies/smiley.gif

Heavenly Sword is a rent for me. It seem like a game I would only play thru once. I knew Lair was going to be bad, just had a feeling about it.

I tried the demo of Skate and didn't like it. It's designed to be more "realistic" than the Tony Hawk series, but this makes it much more difficult. If you don't line up a grind PERFECTLY, you fall. Gameplay difficulties aside, it could be a decent game, but I prefer arcade-style sports and racing games.

In for Skate, absolutely. I'm bananas for the demo and miffed that it was delayed til Friday.

Maybe rent Heavenly Sword at some point. I'm not too big on it, really.
