My <s>Adidas</s> Nintendos walk through concert doors and roam all over coliseum floors

182951120b.jpgIt's gotta be the shoes! We've seen lots and lots of weird/strange Nintendo branded merchandise before, but I think these shoes may be one of my favorite yet. It's just such a misguided attempt and done by people that obviously have never played a single nintendo game before. It just makes me laugh thinking back to a time where ANYTHING could sell if they put the Nintendo name on it. Nintendo Cereal System FTW!

So let's take a look at what's off about these shoes. Though they say Legend of Zelda on them the colors and characters on the shoes have nothing to do with the game. In fact, Princess Peach is on the side (throwing a fireball???) and Mario himself is on the bottom. Surrounded by pink...and blue. The tounge says Nintendo Power, the sole says Power Pad and for some damn reason has the numbers 1-12 listed. In some alternate reality I can justify almost all that crap crammed into one thing, since even though it doesn't belong together, at least it's all Nintendo. But what the hell are the numbers for? For the record these are shoes for a young girl (which explains the color scheme I suppose). More Pics below!
