No Maracas For Wii Samba

IGN bestows some terrible news upon us gamers this morning (that you can see in the title of this post). What's the point of releasing the game now? I understand that the Wiimotes are a better fit for this sort of thing as compared to the SIXAXIS or 360 controller but c'mon folks! One of the best things about the Dreamcast version of the game was the awesome fake maracas you got with it. It's like not using the fake guitar in Guitar Hero, pointless.

I guess you could be "glass half-full" and say that at least we're getting the game at all, but I'm going with half-empty on this one. The maracas add the little bit of extra fun to an already charming game.
