One poor soul attempts to defeat "Through Fire and Flames" in GH3 on expert

Glutton for punishment (and good friend of the site) Matt Dominick decided he wasn't going to take GH3 lying down, and was gonna beat that nigh impossible song from Dragonforce... on expert no less. He goes to great lengths, even ditching his girlfriend to continue his work (which could only be called "A mission from god"). Word to the wise, this was not a good move on Matt's part... and he knows it.

Well, after many hours of tape he did it, but I can't help but shake the feeling that a part of him looks dead inside now... as if Guitar Hero took a piece of his soul. Course maybe he just needs to shave.

If there's one thing I'd change about the video, it'd be that I want to see more of his fuck-ups. I enjoy watching the misery of others (yes, even my friends).

I couldn't listen to that stupid song for that long.

It may be quick, but it has ZERO substance. Not every song needs to, but songs that get their jock ridden harder than a steam roller at an asphalt party should have at least some redeeming quality to them.

1. Thanks, the world is surprised whenever they find out that she is a hardcore gamer (how I met her). Why do us guys always find it hard to believe that attractive girls could be into games? It's one of the great mysteries of the modern world.

As for the shirts, my favorite shirts are usually some good ebay finds (the phillies shirts). It takes patience, but some great stuff can be found. Just make sure to get the correct size (unlike me at times...).

**SPOILER ALERT (for video)**

Oh man, that video was awesome. Just watching someone beat it wouldn't have been fun at all without the backstory.

I thought for sure he was going to lose on the last note or something like that. Not knowing his fate is what really made it exciting.
