Order For Destruction

Poor Arthur Dent. The man really had the worst day EVER, didn't he?

Thanks to having to rummage through a huge pile of old pictures I came across a couple gaming artifacts that I forgot I own. These date back to the old Infocom days when companies really knew how to make game packaging special and Infocom were the Kings. They included special "feelies" in every game you purchased from them. Many times these little game-themed trinkets had an actual purpose but in the case of the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy they were mainly just funny as hell. Below you'll find scans of the Order Of Destruction paperwork for Arthur Dent's house in English and the Order of Destruction for Planet Earth in Vogon! Click 'em to em'biggem 'em.

I still have all that stuff, too! My favorite was the empty plastic bag with the microfleet and the pocket fluff.

It's probably lumped in with the C64 stuff in a box somewhere in the basement.

And even though I've had that game all this time, I've only played it for 10 minutes. Text Adventures were tough. LOL

No kidding, Infocom games were definitely no joke. I used to play them for hours, but always got stuck at the same places. I might have more of the Hitchhiker's feelies some where, but not everything.
