Overkill gameplay retains Grindhouse style

Set the clock in the DeLorean to 10am yesterday. I had just published a post about some more of the awesome Grindhouse-style promotional work being done for House of the Dead: Overkill. Reading that post you may notice that I ponder whether or not that Grindhouse style would be in the actual game. Ponder no more;

As you can see the game's look retains that grainy film stock filtering, fonts are in line with 70's cinema, and color scheme and sets all seem to be straight out of a late night drive-in.

Jim is pleased. Countdown to February 13th officially begins now.

I really want to check this game out... It will give me a reason to turn on my Wii. I haven't played it in about 8 months or so.
