Powershot Pinball Constructor

If you're a regular consumer of either our site or our podcast, chances are you already know that we here at theBBPS are suckers for a good pinball simulation. While Dan and Kevin plug hours away into Pinball FX and I count down the days until Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection -- and we're all waiting with bated breath for this months release of Devil's Crush on the Virtual Console -- somehow something very special managed to slip through the cracks -- we had completely missed the first wave of news about Powershot Pinball Constructor!

So what makes this one such a real treat? I think the title gives it away, but in case you weren't paying attention let me spell it out for you -- YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN TABLES. Not only that, but you can share your tables wirelessly with friends. That, my dear readers, is cool with a captial K.

On top of the very enticing "make your own tables" gimmick, the just-released screenshots for this title (below) look decent -- and thanks to Metroid Prime Pinball, we all know that the little ball-bearing game is a perfect fit for the DS. Powershot Pinball Constructor is set to hit the streets on September 14th in Europe/UK. No official release info for anything across the pond yet, but if worst comes to worst a little importing never hurt anybody.
