Praise the maker, Klonoa is coming stateside

I'm one of those unlucky few who missed out on Klonoa back in it's PS1 heydey. Something of a cult classic, Klonoa is considered by many to be one of the first and one of the best 2.5D platformers to ever grace a home console. And while we all knew a wiimake was inbound, most of us didn't think it was ever leaving Japan's borders.

Thankfully Kotaku has the scoop. It's coming out in North America in 2009. Confirmed. Sweetness.

Thank god they didn't change the character design like they were planning to.

Next: Klonoa Beach Volleyball (JPN PS1) on the PSN. Just for lulz.
