I was having a nice little jaw session with Dan and Kevin the other day when one of them mentioned that the whole This is Living campaign is so strange that David Lynch could have directed it. The first thing that sprang to my mind when they uttered those words was "but David Lynch DID direct a PlayStation commercial!"

It was for the PS2, and although lynchnet.com suggests this ad was only shown in movie theaters in Europe, I distinctly remember seeing it on our shores -- although I don't remember if it was on TV or in a theater. Regardless, nothing is weirder than David Lynch's PS2 commercial, The Third Place. Enjoy.

As weird as that is it's still better than almost any Sony ad in recent memory.

was an awesome advert i remember it like it was yesterday they advertised it on TV a few months before its release in 1999. made me want the ps2 even more, come to think of it i think ill pull the old girl out now smilies/cheesy.gif
