It would seem backward compatibility is the rule of the day, with both the PS3 and the 360 getting in on the action.

The new PS3 update (ver 1.70) will allow the PSone games you can download from the online store for the PSP to also be played on the PS3. It seems like it shoulda been that way from the start but at least they're making the fix now.

The new backward compatibility list for the 360 was also released today and includes some fantastic titles like Jet Set Radio Future and Panzer Dragoon Orta. Apparently the file isn't live yet but you can download it from Microsoft's site and install it that way.

So everything old is new again! Huzzah!

Microsoft just made my day and let me check of the last title I was waiting to move over before selling off my old Xbox. They're letting me play Full Spectrum Warrior on my 360 and I am one happy man.
