PS3 fanboys strike at Capcom with great vengeance and furious anger

crybaby.jpgOh boy. Talk about a bunch of assholes and idiots. There's a group of people who are so upset that the upcoming Devil May Cry 4 is going to be published multi-platform that they are boycotting all Capcom games from now on. For some reason they feel betrayed.

So let me get this right... You're refusing to buy a game because the company angered you by selling the game for more than one platorm, including the one you trumpet so loudly. Huh, in that case it seems like a good idea that they're selling DMC4 on more than just the PS3.

We (The people that have signed this petition) feel very left out in your decision to make Devil May Cry 4 a Multi-Platform title, and hereby agree to boycott your sale of Capcom affiliated games. This is due to your decision to turn your back on your most faithful gaming company. For years we have enjoyed games, we have reaped the benefits of your committment to Sony. We find it absolutely demoralizing for not only the gamers, but also Sony itself. We want you to know that will not, and should not stand for your actions, and therefore withold our option of buying your product.

Sincerely,

[Jerk-Offs]

Shockingly, and perhaps a bit sad, as of this writing there's over 2800 signatures. I've never seen a more misguided attempt to accomplish something.

Read the signatures on it a bit closer.

Most of them are people laughing and insulting the petition's creator, and a good number of them are bots.

That's right. You can tell by reading how generic some of these names and comments on it are: Someone is using a bot to sign this crap.

I'm also boycotting Capcom. Not because of DMC4, but because both Dead Rising and Lost Planet sucked balls. Here's my boycott strategy - I won't buy another Capcom title until they make one worth buying. smilies/smiley.gif

I quasi-enjoyed both games, though they both had enought problems to make them an overall pass

Capcom has a history of overrated games. The only great game that they made was Resident Evil 4. Other than that, Street Fighter 2 but that was mad long ago.

hmmm... i wonder how many people would've signed something like this back when Capcom made games for the nes/snes, and started making all playstation games? If im correct, there was only 1 or 2 N64 Capcom games, and those were ports...
