[I added another shot, there's a second one after the jump.]

Below is a picture of Rayman from the new Wii game, "Rayman's Raving Rabbids". The shot on the left is Rayman in his normal outfit. The shot on the right is him in his gangsta apparel.

Yes they change his skin tone when you put on the gangsta costume.

Yes it's a little Fraked up.

Another shot after the jump

It should be said the game's humor is a seriously goofy and way over the top, so I'm quite sure it's nothing intentional.

Would the fact that in the second picture Rayman is standing in shadow have something to do with his skin tone being somewhat darker? smilies/wink.gif

Nope, It's just where I could get the camera to zoom in closer to him. I'll try and get a better shot, but the difference is clear as day looking at the TV.

Yeah that is a little offensive. I'm not mad but you gotta wonder what Ubi was thinking. Whatever, I guess they figured no black people would actually play it. And you know what? They're 0 correct! This black dude aint gettin no where near a rayman game. He has no arms or legs, kinda freaks us out.

If we're going all out, shouldn't the Elvis costume have him come with an extra 300 pounds and a bucket of fried chicken?

I know there's a joke in there somewhere about the gangsta costume needed the bucket of fried chicken too, but I'll be damned if I'm going to make it.

they honestly should have added a "thug life" tattoo on his stomach, made him white and called him "suburban white-boy rayman". whynot just give him a 40 so he can spill some for his homies and crip walk off the screen with fried chicken, and watermellon (there's the joke jimmy) while shooting at the police. i mean, if you're going to be that stupid about it, why not go all out. i'll have a photoshopped new rayman later today.

I don't think its offensive at all...
Afro-american people were the birth of the Gangsta look, so Ubi made Rayman's skin tone darker to make the look cooler and much more authentic...
I love hip hop music and gangsta rap, and the gangsta outfit is my favourite costume, at least i don't have any prob with that and I dont think black people have any problem either and besides regular Rayman is white and I dont care, why would black people be offensed?????
