Xbox Live, Wii's Virtual Console, Sony's Playstation Store. All 3 have put their mark on the online world for their consoles in different ways. All 3 offer downloadable retro and original titles. So licensing issues aside, what game more than any other would you like to download and play?" Remember we'd love to hear your asnwers in the comments section!Andarko- That's easy: Tetris! I became addicted to Tetris on my brother's Nintendo when I was a kid, and have loved it ever since. It's the only game I keep on my cell phone. Fitting little blocks together, especially to increasingly rapid classical music, is relaxing, immensely satisfying, and helps me put my mind in order. The day Tetris comes to Xbox Live Arcade, I will download it immediately!
Greshkov- This sounds like a cop-out, but since they announced it for Japan, i would really like to see turismo hd over here, pretty damn soon. I know absolutely no one is shocked to hear me say that (or read me write that?) but i think it's a great idea that will help out the ps3. think about it, a high def version of a fantastic racing game that sells millions of copies... for free download. and honestly, turismo has just become a graphics update for the same game. sometimes new cars and tracks are added, and that's exactly what you get with turismo hd (ferrari license finally). Either that, or panzer dragoon and pd saga. But I think those games would work better on 360.
Harpua Scorpio- Harking back to my NES days I was enthralled with a little Rare title called R.C. Pro Am. The fast paced, simplistic racing was highly addictive yet still challenging. One little mishap or turn taken too early would result in going from first to worst. If memory serves me correctly it was a Nintendo-published title so it most likely would only appear on the Wii's Virtual Console though I would love to see this title on Xbox Live Arcade with full online multiplayer support. I think it's safe to assume that this will never happen so I'll have to be happy with the chance of it hitting the VC.
B- One of the biggest reasons for me getting the Wii was the Virtual Console. I am so desperate to play Punch Out!! again. If that was the only game that was available, I would not care. For the PSone downloads, I would love to get a little obscure game called Silent Bomber. This was a game that I first played on Official PlayStation Magazine demo disk (RIP OPM), that I just had to buy on its release day. When it came in, I had a blast, but I couldn't beat the near impossible boss at the end. If you ever come across a copy, I would surely pick it up.
JimmyCanuck- I'm a HUGE fan of Crackpots. I don't know why but I've never been able to get enough. I think I'd like to see either a 4-pack of Activision classics on XBLA for 400 points (3 achiements per game sounds about right for old school Activision) or a brand new XBLA title with the same basic gameplay mechanic. I've always said that if I had the chance I'd put together a team who could put together a remake of Crackpots - of course having zero technical skill has kind of rendered that dream null and void, even with XNA.
danzuke- There's a few games that top my list, one being River City Ransom (2 player online co-op naturally). But the game I'd love to see the most is Super Dodge Ball for the old NES, with full online multiplayer support. you could do a 3-on-3 (those guys that play out of bounds would be no fun, just guys on the field). This game is a classic and how could you not love running and beaning someone in the head with the ball? Course I'd love to see it one either Sony or Xbox's live service, cause I want to wear the headset. That way, whenever I eliminate someone I can yell:
