Real pics of the Legendary edition of Halo 3

Don't get me wrong, it looks cool and all, especially the actual game case holder, but it just doesn't look like it's of a high enough quality to justify the $130 price tag. Not that any rational person would be able to justify it, but when it comes to video game collectibles I'm no where near rational.

Even still, I think I'm gonna be able to stay away from this one. I'll probably regret not buying it, but in the end I'll know I made the right call. What about you? Which version are you gonna go with... Regular? Collectors? Legendary?

All regular, all the time. After feeling like I got burned on the Gears Limited Edition I swore off the collector's and limiteds.

When all's said and done I really just want to grab the game case and get the game out, not have to fumble around with some tin that I'm scared to scratch with a flimsy piece of cardboard holding my (now) $70+ disc.

I think the helmet and stand look fairly high quality, it just pisses me off that inside it's just a couple of normal Xbox 360 cases. It'd be like removing Master Chief's armour to reveal Carrot Top or something.

I'm still on the fence with this one. If I wasn't getting married and was able to blow my income like it was nothing, I wouldn't even think twice. But with my own house, comes my own media/game room, and the more video game memorabilia, the better.
