Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition Trailer

Capcom has recently released it's first true RE4: Wii Edition trailer to the web. In typical Wii fashion it's an ad that's more about people in a living room playing than it is about the game itself. Am I the only one not sick of these ads yet? I don't know why, but they give me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Like a peach rotting in the sun.

About half way through the commercial things take a really awesome turn. It's more than makes up for sitting through the ho-hum guy an girl on a couch playing Wii parts, trust me. I think this wins my award for favorite Wii commercial so far.

But on to the game itself - is anyone actually excited about this? My only experience with FPS on the Wii was Red Steel, and we all know how that turned out. I think I'm going to give this at least a rent to begin with - after all, RE4 is a brilliant game no matter what platform you put it on. I'm curious to see if they've gone one console too far with this, or if the Wii edition is going to revolutionize the way with think about RE4.

Yep. It was flawed, but showed promise and was fun when you got into it. I'm sure this edition will be well worth it.
