Hey, remember that time when I told old school game fans to buy Retro Game Challenge? Well, no one did, and now the chances of seeing the sequel localized are officially slim to none. XSEED's director of publishing, Ken Berry, has stated that 20, 000 more copies of the game have to be sold to save the sequel from sinking just as many leagues under the sea.

To entice fence-sitters, fan, Benjamin White has promised one handmade Robot Ninja Haggleman button per RGC purchase between June 24 and the hypothetical release of the sequel [as long as it's a new copy rather than a resold used one]. You can even choose between the normal design or Haggleman's "busted" sprite. That, ladies and gentlemen, is devotion. And the buttons are pretty righteous-looking to boot. Check out White's Etsy page for even more game-related paraphernalia.
So, if you haven't, read my review, and if you even think you might like Retro Game Challenge, do us and yourself a favor, and buy the game. Don't you want that awesome button? Do it. Do it now.
