Some podcasts, from me to you

Do you occasionally find yourself without anything to listen to while on the road?  Does the music in your iPod sometimes get a little old?  Do the voices in your head fail to entertain you anymore?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then these podcasts are for you.  Below I've compiled a list of gaming related podcasts that bring me joy, and I'm here today to spread joy like malaria.  Why would I do this, you ask?  Because I care, that's why.

cagcastbestitunes2The Cheap Ass Gamer Podcast

This is my all-time favorite gaming podcast because it has it all: it's funny, informative, and the hosts, CheapyD and Wombat, both bring something special to the podcast. (And I don't mean the 'stop eating the glue' kind of special.)

It also helps that they have the best gaming deals which are certainly useful in this dark economic climate.

pcasts-redSarcastic Gamer, Red Show Podcast

The hosts of the SG podcast (Doc, Dave, and Lono) have great chemistry; they've also created some hilarious parody songs about Microsoft's Surface, Jack Thompson, and more.  Plus, if you don't have too much time to listen to spend listening to podcasts, theirs is under an hour (shorter than the CAG cast, which is over an hour.)  They also cater to every type of gamer: The Blue Show covers everything Sony related, the Pink Show is more female oriented, and the Red/Orange Shows cover everything else.

Alcohol? Check. Comedy? Check.  Video games? Check. Need I say more?

If that's not enough then the drunken gamers that are Hilden, Moe, and John should satiate your gaming needs.  If you want the latest news in the gaming industry as well as some great ideas for new drinking games then this is the podcast for you.

Rebel FMRebel FM Podcast

This one is new, but already a huge success since it is brought to us by some of the talented folks from 1Up and EGM.  One of the most informative of the podcasts I've mentioned, I've only listened to a few episodes and I'm already hooked and eagerly anticipating more.

 thebbps-bitcastTheBBPS Bitcast

The best podcast for the newest news and happenings in the gaming industry, this podcast could very well change your life. If you haven't been listening to the Bitcast then you certainly need to. All the cool people do, and you want to be cool, right? Right?

Are you a fan of a gaming podcast I haven't mentioned?  Here's your chance to let the world know!

Both are sort of game-lite podcasts, but the 2pstart podcast is great (Short, well produced, funny), and the one life left podcast, which is a UK based radio show thats far more laid back about its gaming, but entertaining none the less.
