Shadow of the Colossus statue now shipping from Play-Asia.com!

Much to my delight/suprise, this morning I got an email from Play-Asia telling me my Shadow of the Colossus statue I had pre-ordered has shipped out! The really strange thing is that when I pre-ordered, I got it for $95.00 and now it's selling for $119.00. Thank god I paid for it ahead of time. Either way, this statue kicks serious ass and I cannot wait to get it into the house.

Made by Kotobukiya the statue is a rendition of the 1st Colossus from the game, and at the price of these things, I'm really hoping they don't make all 16. I love this game enough that I'd probably buy them all. Though I would like a statue of the 3rd Colossus (which I based my music video on).

This officially makes this the most expensive 2 months for videogame related spending in my entire life. PS3, Wii, Wii games, Bully, Guitar Hero II, Contact, Final Fantasy XIII, Gears of War, and a Colossus statue. Basicially I'm looking at well over a thousand dollars (I should probably be ashamed of myself, but I'm not.)

This statue will get top billing in my house (which means it shares the top shelf with my Skeletor and Unicron statues.

Yes, they're in my living room.

Yes, I'm that big a geek.

No, I won't apologize for it.
