ODDBALL KILL

Bungie is notorious for hiding easter eggs within their games, and Halo 3 is no exception. A total of 13 skulls are littered throughout the nine levels in the single-player campaign of Halo 3, nine gold skulls affect campaign scoring and increase the games difficulty while four silver skulls exist for other reasons.

The most infamous silver skull, IWBYD (I Would Be Your Daddy), was the last missing piece that kept gamers from unlocking the full Ryu Hayabusa amour permutation in Halo 3 (pictured above -- in order to unlock the Ryu helmet you must first find all 13 hidden skulls within the single-player campaign.). While Bungie was tight lipped on its whereabouts, the Halo Community has unlocked the secret late Friday night.

While we'd love to explain it to you it may spoil some of Halo 3's plot and frankly its quite a long process. Those brave enough to crave the secret are welcome to watch the embedded video after the jump.

Who is that badass Spartan Ninja photographed above you might ask. After discovering the secrets of unlocking the IWBYD skull I took it upon myself to acquire the Hayabusa set early Saturday morning.

Now I just need to get all 1000 achievement points which is said to unlock a badass Samurai sword that's slapped on your back when using the Hayabusa chest piece!

Due to an error, you may find the video on GameVideos.com

Fixed. FireFox wasn't agreeing with the GameVideos.com embedded code.

Don't blame me. Blame terrorism.
