Super Star Soldier now on Virtual Console

Earlier tonight I found myself tearing Nintendo a new one for falling through on their promise to deliver new Virtual Console titles every Monday, but it looks like I may have spoken too soon. They may have only added one game, but if you're a fan of button-mashing twitch shooters it'll be right up your alley.

Super Star Soldier is the third Turbo-Grafx 16 title to surface on the Virtual Console, and like the rest it is available for 600 points. More details can be found on the games official website.

Seems like an obscure TG-16 title to put up there so early. Where are all the classic (and popular) titles??

Agreed - I can't wait to get my hands on Military Madness and Devil's Crush.
