Taiko Drum Master coming to the Nintendo DS

This game was released and quickly forgotten in North America for the Playstation 2. It's a shame too cause it was a really fun little rhythm title. The drum felt real solid and there was something extremely cool about banging away on that drum that couldn't quite be replicated on the Kongas on the Gamecube.

Now I'll be able to take my drumming on the road with this newly announced Taiko drum game for the DS! Naturally as of now this is a Japanese only release, no word on a stateside release but no region protection means instant importation for me! They haven't said how the game will control yet, but one has to assume that the touch screen will be playing a central role.
