Takahashi takes a break from designing playgrounds, designs new game instead

Remember a few years back when Katamari creator Keita Takahashi said he would be leaving the industry after only one title so that he could create playgrounds?  I guess that must not have turned out too well, since Takahashi is back with Namco-Bandai and has just announced a new title: Nobi Nobi Boy.

Nobi Nobi Boy literally translates to "Stretch Stretch Boy," and as you can see from the image above, he does that in spades.  No word yet on the actual gameplay, but I have no doubt that it'll be far different from anything we've seen before.  It was announced at the Playstation Premiere event in Tokyo yesterday, so we know for sure that this baby is PS3-bound.  No word on other systems though.
