TARDIS Tennis Anyone?

It's been a while since I've found a flash game that is so utterly captivating that I just can't walk away, but when it combines two of my favourite things -- Doctor Who and video game tennis -- how can you go wrong?

As near as I can tell TARDIS Tennis was put together for BBC website during Wimbledon 2003 and it's never been removed. Normally the BBC flash games are lame beyond all lameness (check out the nearly two dozen Doctor Who games that all suck equal amounts of ass to see what I mean) - but TARDIS Tennis is a real gem. Visually it's right on par with the Super Nintendo, and thankfully gameplay wise too. As far as tennis games go, it's surprisingly good. And the TARDIS connection? You get your choice of historical figures to choose from (John Lennon, Shakespeare, and Queen Victoria) while smashing it on the court. Whether you're a Who-fan like me or just looking to kill a few minutes in the office while the boss is away, TARDIS Tennis is an excellent way to spend the next 15 minutes of your day.

Play TARDIS Tennis here.
