Orange Box pre-order ticket holders for PC have been treated to an exclusive beta for the highly anticipated Team Fortress 2 via Steam starting today. While reports are swirling that the beta did have initial launch issues, everything seems to be working perfectly now for all your grenadeless multiplayer needs. It's been a rough day trying to convince myself to not pre-order the PC version of the game considering I really want to get The Orange Box for the Xbox 360. While I'm not sure why I would prefer to play the game on Microsoft's console, **cough**achievements**cough**, I think we can all agree that The Orange Box is the best value proposition the holiday season has to offer no matter which platform you purchase it for. The Orange Box includes Half-Life 2, HL2: Episode One and Two, Portal and Team Fortress 2 and is set to ship on October 10, 2007, for PC and Xbox 360 while the PS3 version will ship mid-November 2007.
