The B(BPS)eatles Reunion Concert!

As hard as it might be to believe, the real highlight of X09 wasn't Left 4 Dead 2, DJ Hero, or Modern Warfare 2.  No -- it was a game that's already been out for a month.  Why?  Because we got to climb on stage and make asses of ourselves!

From left to right, we have contributor Bryan Wall on bass, former staffer Ryan Hewson on drums, former staffer Christina Winterburn on guitar, and me, your humble glory hog Jim Squires on the mic.  Or as I'm better known around these parts, "The Frank Sinatra of the North."  Ol' Broken Glass Throat, they call me.  And while I clearly can't sing in the above clip, at least it's a John song and doesn't require much range.  Hit the jump to check out my attempting a Paul number, in which it sounds less like I'm singing and more like I'm raping a cat with a steel-tipped arrow and a bottle of rubbing alcohol.  True story.

I never thought of that. It is like a BBPS reunion cause Ryan and I are former writers. So funny. God, that was like the best part of yesterday - next to the Splinter Cell Conviction demo. *drools*

Ol' Broken Glass Throat? I thought it was "The Velour Fog." Either way, that was a good time, although I was disappointed I wasn't able to work in some rock-kicks into "Revolution."

Revisionist historians would argue your claim, Newsome.
