The Maw: Deleted Scene - Brute Force

It hasn't gotten much play elsewhere, so I thought it worth mentioning here:  Xbox LIVE Arcade darling The Maw released it's first downloadable content last week, an extra level plopped in with the rest of the main game.  Being described as a "Deleted Scene", the new level titled "Brute Force" will cost you a measly 100 Microsoft Points for a good 30 minutes to an hour of extra fun.

Featuring those nasty aliens that captured you and the Maw in the first place, three heavily armed dudes (pictured above) block the path of escape.  As you might imagine, you'll have to find a way to employ brute force to deal with these brutes.  This deleted scene is a little tricky as once you've progressed past a certain point you can't revisit the former half of the level - in order to score the extra achievement and 15 gamerpoints for getting 100% eaten along with the well hidden snuffle you'll likely have to repeat the level.

While Brute Force isn't the best The Maw has to offer, it's hard to argue against it given the low price point and the excuse to revisit this charming little gem of a game.
