adventuresoflolotwo.jpg super_sf2_snes.jpgWoo-hoo! Two quality titles hitting the service this week! Bring on the Wii Points!

First up is Adventures of Lolo 2. I've somehow managed to make it this far in life without playing a Lolo game, but I think that's going to change tonight. To be honest, I might just go back and pick up the first one which is already on the VC. Lolo is a top-down action puzzler that's light on the action and heavy on the puzzles, just like I likes'em. Since it was originally an NES release this one will set you back 500 points.

The second release this week is Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers for the SNES. This one introduced a few new characters like Cammy and T.Hawk while balancing things out with a much needed gameplay tweak and a new combo system. Definitely the better of the two Street Fighters available on the VC so far. As you've probably guessed, 800 points for the big guy.

As always, you can find excellent reviews/videos of all of the VC releases over at The Virtual Console Archive. Check out their stuff on Adventures of Lolo 2 and Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers.

Lolo is a fantastic game; I've never played the sequel, so this purchase might be in order.
