With the use of Halo 3's Forge mode and the large array of options available to create custom gametypes, we've decided to jump into the development fray and submit to you our exclusive Halo 3 Downloadable Content!

Hopefully this will be the first in a series of staff made and user-submitted content for the newly released Xbox 360 title, Halo 3. Our first item is a double shot of awesome in the form of the gametype and Valhalla map variant, HaloHawk.

Equipment: None

Description: Take to the skies in this Halo 3 variant of Team Slayer. Each base is equipped with one Hornet and two Banshees. All players spawn with the Plasma Pistol (Steady aim? A charged plasma pistol will disable any vechicle it hits!), no grenades, 4X Shields and no radar. Shields do not regenerate so attack wisely!

Spawning: All vehicles are on a 10 second respawn, players respawn inside their base. Each team has one random spawn point in the center of the map next to a Mongoose for fast travel back to their respective bases.

Special Power-up: At the center of the map lies a blessing and a curse. The blessing? The special power-up makes whoever grabs it invunrable to all damage, gives the player 300% the normal speed and 50% gravity for insane jumps (air boarding anyone?!) and makes any damage you cause a one-hit kill. Power-up only lasts for 10 seconds, but allows the perfect amount of time to destroy any enemy aircraft that dares cross you. The curse? When the 10 seconds are over, your shields drop to zero! Are the kills worth the risk?
