Not much I can say bout this round, I haven't heard of any of these bands and Harmonix is calling it the Earache pack (or something). So in other words expect to be screaming a lot. Hey, at least they're all master tracks!

Normal prices in effect, available Tuesday on the 360 and Thursday on the PSN.

"Blinded By Fear" by At the Gates (master)

"Thrasher" by Evile (master)

"D.O.A." by The Haunted (master)

Videos after the jump!

Big pass for me. I may sound old by saying this but it just sounds like noise to me... Now get off my lawn!

For me this one is a simply a case of "To each their own."

I wouldn't want to play these songs, but for people that dig the music they're probably a blast.

Ok, I just picked this game up this past weekend and had an absolute blast playing with all 4 positions filled with friends. Any of the previously released bundles an absolute "must-have" based upon either the music or the fun of playing the songs?

Well, it really depends on your personal tastes in music. I'm loving the Weezer and Oasis songs, and March of the Pigs from NiN on drums is downright awesome.

Fortunate Son is one of my favorite tracks overall and was released in that very 1st batch of dlc.

It's a pain in the ass to scan the "back catalog" so to speak on XBL so I'd say go check out the list on Rockband.com to see everything that's available.

Yeah, scanning through the catalog of songs on XBL is a nightmare. Rock Band needs an in-game DLC browser, which would allow you to sort the tracks (like you can in the song list), and also download preview versions, which would be similar to the "Trial Mode" for arcade games- it'd be the actual track, but you would watch the computer playing the track, not be able to play it yourself.
