Tilt: The battle to save pinball

I've always had a real soft spot for pinball, growing up in the arcades there were always a few around. While they were usually crammed in the back corner of the arcade I always seemed to find myself back there. It's probably on account of my dad teaching me how to play them. He never got into playing arcade games much but since he'd been playing pinball for years it was more comfortable for him. I've got a love for Air Hockey for the same reason. Didn't hurt that my parents had 2 pinball machines in the house for a good number of years either.

So it's natural to assume that I'm excited about checking out Tilt: The Battle to Save Pinball. It's a documentary all about the largest remaining company making pinballs, Williams. You can buy the DVD from their website (as well as a sweet movie poster), which I might end up buying... since Netflix doesn't have it in stock yet.

I'm pretty sure Williams is out of business and I think the only pinball company alive is Stern and they release only one new machine each year. This year being "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull", which eventhough I heard the movie was horrible, the pinball machine is actually really cool.

LONG LIVE PINBALL!!!!!!!
