Tokyo Beat Down Looks Righteous

Niche publisher Atlus has just detailed a new game for the Nintendo DS called Tokyo Beat Down, which lets you, in old school fashion, beat the crap out of dudes.

FREEZE SUCKA!

The arcade-style beat 'em up follows three members of the most righteous police group in Tokyo, the Beast Cops (awesome). Each team member features a different play style, and the ending of the game depends on the story-line the player chooses to follow. tbd

Aesthetically, the game looks to be inspired by '70s and '80s cop shows. This title is definitely going to be a wacky one, but, hey, that's what Atlus is for. Tokyo Beat Down looks to be a breath of fresh air.

The Yakuza-stomping retro shenanigans can be yours for $29.99 on March 10th. Start growing your 70's mustache, because the Beast Cops are gonna straight up murder your ass, for justice's sake, of course.
