Virtua Tennis 3 in 1080p on 360 & PS3. Online play on the other hand... not so much

Sega's Virtua Tennis 3 will be the 1st title to support 1080p resolution on the Xbox 360. Naturally it's going to support 1080p on the PS3 as well. Which is great. The title looked incredible at E3 on the Playstation and I can only imagine how far it's come since then.

Online play is another matter however. On the 360 the usual support for player and ranked matches are in full effect, for singles and doubles matches which should be fun. There's also an online spectator mode, similar to the one on Project Gotham 3. On the PS3 the online features are....... none. There's no online play for the PS3 version. In it's place, SEGA is adding in functionality to take advantage of the SIXAXIS tilt sensors.

Looks there's another title I'll be getting for the 360.

I'll take online multiplayer over "tilt" feature anyday - this looks like fun. I wonder if they will support online tournament play?
