We're older, but still hardcore

There are a million and a half videogame websites out there. At least. There's news sites, review sites, cheat sites, the list goes on and on. It seemed like every corner was covered. Problem is most of those sites it seems are written for children.

Where was the intelligent discussion? Maybe I'm just getting older - well I'm definitely getting older, so why not have a game site from that perspective? There are a few sites out there that cater to the grown-up gamer, but not many. And I think I can fill a niche and raise the bar all at the same time.

I've been playing games since I was 3 years old. My parents bought me an Atari 2600 and I've been hooked ever since. As I get ready to leave my twenties behind 'm still just as addicted to the games, but with a full-time job, girlfriend, mortgage, etc. I have significantly less time to play. Hopefully my age and longevity brings some wisdom and insight to the videogame discourse. Hopefully I'm not just deluding myself.

Over the next few weeks/months (after recruiting some friends) I hope to expand the contributors and readers. Hopefully everyone here enjoys what they find.

We're older, but we're still hardcore.
