What'cha Been Playing?: I Ateded Kev Edition

As you may have guessed from his mysterious disappearance, our own Kevin Alexander is on vacation and livin' la vida loca (which I assume is Spanish for sitting around his new house and continuing to unpack/decorate.) Sure we'll miss the poor boy when his absence causes us to replace him with a work-for-hire Columbian child, but on the bright side that means you get to see my bright and shiny face for the next couple of weeks of What'cha Been!

It's been mostly Metal Gear Solid 4 for me. Just wrapped up the second act. I'm trying to balance my time between the story and the kick ass multiplayer. Also just started Kororinpa: Marble Mania for the Wii thanks to a quality Goozex trade. If you like Marble Madness descendants but want to chuck Super Monkey Ball through a window, you might want to check it out.

But enough about me -- what have YOU been playing?

I am on vacation, but thanks to a hard-earned $9.95 I have the internet for 24 hours, which should be up in the next couple of hours.

Yesterday I hit my goal of reaching level 70 in WoW by the end of June. Now I've been running around Azeroth "Honoring The Flame" wherever I can. Need me one of them flaming dancing Draenei hotties.

See what I did there?

I've also picked up Ticket To Ride, which is great, but it's the first one of these German board games that I think I'd actually rather play on table top.

Oh, and Space Invaders Extreme for the PSP, which kicks an extreme amount of ass.

Both me and my sister got a copy of Resident Evil 4 (PS2 for me, and GC for her), and we've been having a little competition to see who can beat it first under strict play-per-day rules.

@panda: Murphy & the Poolrats = FANTASTIC band name.

@ender: You're still playing my mom? That's a game that really hasn't aged well, sir. Strange tastes indeed.

I think I've recommended Okami to everyone I talk to about games, glad to see you're enjoying it!

@Bojy - was your /sarcasm on when you said "Yes i still visit this site besides the nintendo hate."? If so -- kudos for being in on the joke. If not -- and I mean this from the bottom of my heart -- eat shit and die.

To all the haters who claim we just Nintendo-bash: do a quick search for the word Nintendo and start counting how many posts are pro, neutral, and negative on the big N. Come back to me with a total and then tell me again that all we do is bash Nintendo. Then shit. Then eat it. Then die from toxemia.

I've taken a few days off from WoW and have been playing a fair amount of Tiger Woods 08. I also fired up Super Mario Bros 3 for a couple hours, and discovered that my Mario skills are quite rusty. I'll be back in WoW this coming week. Congrats to Kevin on 70!

Well I just picked up Lost Odyssey, so I will be playing some of that in the coming weeks. Also spent some time on my mage this morning doing dailies. Oh and of course, Rock Band.
