What'cha Been Playing - Stressed Edition

Work has been very stressful, ask anyone around here these days. In the recent couple of days it's been lighter but overall it's busier than it ever has been around here.

So that's one part of the "stressed edition".

The other part comes to me courtesy of a cue from Dan to check out the DS game Air Traffic Chaos. As you might have heard (or figured out from the title) it's a sim game that puts you in the roll of an air traffic controller managing the landings and departures of multiple flights at once. I understand that the game might not sound too much fun but I implore you all to check it out. Aviation nuts should love that it uses a lot of true-to-life terms and procedures.

I also took a quick peek at The Price Is Right on the PC and I hope to take a closer look at it next week but I was also just handed The Witcher: Enhanced Edition to review so we'll see what happens.

So, What'cha Been Playing?

WoW, Rock Band 2, and I finally finished Too Human. After playing through the last (4th) dungeon, I can't recommend the game to anyone, unless maybe you only play it co-op. I still can't believe that the game was released with so many problems- as a whole, it really feels like it's in the late alpha or early beta stage.

Here to cheer for Wii amidst impending scorn...

de Blob has my HIGHEST recommendation. Do you like FUN? Are you sure? Then you need to play de Blob, the rarest of gems: A HIGHLY-POLISHED 3RD-PARTY WII GAME!!!

Joy and whimsy on a disc. It is so satisfying to transform each huge level from sterile grey tedium to a technicolored Candyland metropolis with Jolly Rancher trees and boogery Skittle citizens.

Buy this cult classic now before it disappears, and you too can post on NeoGAF 5 years from now about how "in the know" you were 5 years ago.

Support non-port-non-mini-game-non-last-gen games on your Wii!!! Buy de Blob today.

MEGA MAN 9!!! Every minute free moment I've had since Monday has been dedicated to this wonderful little game. I'm hoping to beat it before a week has passed. And then I will beat it again! Ah-haha!

Mega Man 9! I'm now taking a break just before fighting the final boss, my arm aches. That game is old-school for sure!

Besides that, I've been enjoying a lot Dragon Quest IV DS, and a bit of Mega Man Star Force 2 still.
