What'cha Playing?

anxious_man.jpgMan alive it's been a busy week. I'm preparing to launch myself into the sky in a winged aluminum tube at ridiculous speed tomorrow morning as I head for Phoenix for a couple of weeks. I hope to have time to poke my head in and say hi. Also, I promise that we'll get the BitCast going again as soon as things calm down. There's been many scheduling conflicts along the way that should be cleared up soon.

rdaneel, I'm sorry I doubted the Giants though I will continue to doubt them as they face the meanest motherfucker on Earth (besides Daniel Plainview), Bill Belichick and his band of merry Patriots. Perfection, obtained.

This week's been light on gaming for me but I did pick up Burnout Paradise yesterday and I'll be tearing into that as soon as I get out to Phoenix. WoW has been played and some more Geometry Wars Galaxies.

Really, that's about it.

How 'bout ya'll? What'cha been playin'?

Big Blue almost found a way to beat the Pats a month ago. I bet that game is still fresh in their minds. Can you say "spoilers?" (not the videogame kind, the fuck up your perfect season kind)

if the Giants win, the least you can do is name your next kid "Plaxico." It's fun to say.

Now that I have my Wii back from Nintendo, I've been all about Zack and Wiki again. God I love that game.

I've also been plugging away at Children of Mana on my DS, with a little bit of TF2 thrown in for good measure.

Some Korean game called Touch RO Puzzle where you match symbols to make a smiling Yeti keep happy. It's a lot like Bejeweled, except surface area matters.

That and Patapon!

Since I finished Rogue Galaxy last night(100 hours of gameplay... maybe, if you played it twice through), I reached into my drawer of unopened PS2 games and pulled out SWAT, which looks like it will be short and fun for me this week.

In my refusal to download the Rock Band Oasis pack (boo Noel!) I went back to the archives and snagged the Police pack, so I've been fiddling with that all week. Also, we've reached our apex of fandom since we can't really do more than medium with anything. smilies/sad.gif

In addition to that, I've been taking my mandatory daily dose of TF2 (now with 20% more Dan!), started Half Life 2 finally, and the real highlight of the week -- picked up the new Advance Wars last night. LOVING it so far.

Last but not least I have a rental copy of Uncharted from work waiting for me to crack open. Joy!
