Zombie Jesus Loves You BITCHES!!

Bet your zombie plan doesn't include zombie Jesus and his holy smite bite!

Today's the start of a religious holiday weekend here in the states. It's a funny thing, I know a lot of people who would claim to not be too religious but yet they still celebrate Easter and Christmas and all that jazz. It's not that I'm all that innocent of the same thing so this isn't a pot-kettle-black thing, don't worry. The point is, have a great Easter, spend some time with your family and play some damn games!

This past week was another pretty decent gaming week. I was able to finally rip into Crysis on my PC and realize that this is one damn fine game. There's a hundred different ways to tackle every obstacle and group of enemies and if you take your time to really figure out all the tricks to controlling your nanosuit you can have a whole lotta fun combining the strength, speed and cloak powers. The enemies are fairly intelligent and the environments are lush with possibilities. If you have a machine that can stomach it (you just might, mine isn't exactly a beast) then you should definitely check out this game.

On the DS front I was able to track down a copy of Nanostray on eBay and have been enjoying this vertical shooter. It's a tad bit on the easy side, but it makes it nicer to have to deal with Ikaruga-like difficulty. There's arcade and challenge modes that I haven't even touched yet let alone the single-cart multiplayer that awaits Dan (not that he knows it yet). The sequel came out this week and the only GameStop that had a copy in my area was a store in Delaware so I practically stole one off of eBay this morning ($11.99 BIN with $5 s/h brand new, it retails for $29.99).

I also rolled a couple of new WoW characters last night.

So, What's Your God Telling You To Play?

This week has been a mix of a little Mario Galaxy, a bit of House of the Dead 2 & 3 (HECK YEA), and a generous helping of WoW. Speaking of WoW, it looks like Kevin has given Swift an myself an excuse to level some more alts! Mega-w00t!

One of the numerous times we've asked people to come to Dalaran and join the guild I remember someone saying that all the low level content was getting really boring...now it's time to roll some new alts?

Hey, if you're willing to make the move to our server so I can level an alt in an environment where 1) most of my friends have chars, and 2) I can use my high-level chars to power a low-level group fo alts through stuff, I'll level another alt. =) Boring content is made fun if you're with friends, IMO.

Playing a lot of stuff this week, but I'm not feeling very typey so I'll keep the mentions down to two;

Hot Shots Golf on the PS3, which I'm digging. The new Advanced Shot mechanic is pretty sweet and easy to master. I need to spend more time with it before I form a real opinion.

Also playing SMB3 on the VC -- and it's seriously broken, I have no idea where there's no mention of it online anywhere. Expect a video as soon as I can find a new tripod. The gameplay itself is fine, but the visual glitchiness is quite the disappointment.

Guess you're right there Dan. My apologies to those of Catholic faith everywhere around the world.

Great, now we've gone and pissed off Nintendo fanboys AND Catholics...

Speaking as both a fan of Zelda games and a fanatic of St. John the Devine, I'm offended on both fronts!

Wow, this thread has gone downhill FAST...

Just like your guys' moms!

(FYI, I own the patent on the multiple mom jokes... don't even THINK of infringing on it... JT's got my back until he's disbarred)

Call of Duty 4. 4 star general now. Pretty stoked. I've also come to the realization that the default weapons the game gives you still play well when people rock p90s and other heavy assault rifles.

Pre ordered GTA4 its what im waiting for to be honest. And Metal Gear.

Jim, I forgot to mention in the post that I'm playing your mom. I was feeling like I needed something a little retro with loose controls.
