What'cha Playing? My Dirty Little Secret

It's a PostSecret BITCHES!

There's a dirty little secret that I don't usually tell people. You see, I claim to be a huge Half-Life 2 fan, and I am, that's not a lie. My secret really isn't a lie but more so something that I don't like to admit and something that I've been trying to remedy.

I've never finished the original Half-Life.

There, I said it. It's out there in the public and now I feel better.

With that said, I've been making my way through more of the original game in the up-rez'd Source version that came with Half-Life 2's original release. It's a great game and still plays very well today, I can't imagine what a kick in the ass that game would have been ten years ago.

Dan and I also transferred our WoW characters to the Lothar server where we were invited into Xerxes and Switwulf's guild Ardent Fury. I've said it before and I'll keep saying it: WoW is never more fun than when you play with a group of people. Both nights that I've played since the transfer we've run instances and there were times when I was doubled-over laughing between the /yells and Skype chatter. Good times.

So, Dear Readers, What Kind Of Gaming Vibes Did You Encounter This Week?

Lots of WoW. Also some Rock Band, I've finally gotten to the point where I can play a good portion of the songs on Expert Drums which is so much fun!

Also plan on spending some time with my real guitar this weekend as well smilies/smiley.gif

Actually, I haven't played *any* of the HL games. I've had Orange Box since roughly after it came out, but I won't touch HL2 until I play the first game, so I got the $15 HL/Blue Shift/Opposing Force/TFC pack thing. So, I *kind of* know where you're coming from? Anyway, you shouldn't feel bad for not having played HL; it happens.

As far as my playing? A bit of N (regular ol' flash N, not N+). Not much else right now, although I had been playing Mega Man Maverick Hunter X on my PSP not long ago.

This week has been solely WoW for me. We've been having a great time grouping with DanZ and Kevin- they fit right in with the rest of our guild. I need to play Mario Galaxy again, but it's on the backburner along with House of the Dead. Once I get my Nyko pistol attachments for the Wii remotes, I'm sure House of the Dead will be making a comeback.
