What'cha Playing Wednesday: The HBO Rules My Life Edition

Over the weekend HBO's new David Milch series John From Cincinnati premiered and then on Monday was the season premiere of Big Love. This upcoming weekend season 4 of Entourage starts and we have the first episode of Flight Of The Conchords (which I saw online and found to be hilarious). Needless to say, I'm a slave for HBO's TV programming. Ironically, I've never watched the Sopranos, though everything that's available is on my Netflix queue.

Game-wise it's been slow so far this week. Dan and I are on the trek to ding 40 and I received an amazingly generous gift of 300 gold in the in-game mail from a friend who's quitting the game, so I can stop farming and just try to hit 40 as fast as possible. Other than that I played a little bit of Puzzle Quest yesterday, downloaded Prince Of Persia this morning on XBLA and I'm anxiously awaiting spending more time with Forza so that I can keep running Nick, B and Grim off the road. If you're not playing this game yet, remedy that shit pronto.

Series finale (not season premiere), my friend, and as I stated I never watched the Sopranos because it started before I had HBO and I never took the time to catch up.

For some strange reason I've been playing Brooktown High for the PSP, and Pac-Man: CE for the 360...

and just waiting till I hit 40 in WoW and worried I'll love motivation to play smilies/smiley.gif

I am wondering why I don't have any desire to play Marvel Ultimate Alliance...

And I'm so glad I stopped watching the Sopranos a few seasons back, and none of the new HBO shows interest me at all.... Just Entourage for me it seems.

Somehow I missed that the first time I read through. Oops. Anyway, it is/was a great show and I highly recommend watching it. I have all the DVD's and plan on starting over from the beginning. Another great show on HBO is Curb Your Enthusiasm. Man, that show is hilarious. Supposed to have a new season sometime this year as well.

My week hasn't included anything called Halo.

Playing Forza Motorsport 2 mostly with a dash of Pac-Man Championship Edition which I played for review.

Started playing Prince of Persia Classic, game is tough but I love it so far and will probably pound through it.

I've been wanting to play Civilization IV, but I hear it isn't Vista compatible and I really want to play through Metroid Prime 1 and 2 before I hit-up Metroid Prime 3 this August.

I got far in Prime but never finished it because of when it came out, Prime 2's release was killed by Halo 2 and I never actually played it! And, all this waiting makes me want to plug my SNES back in and play Super Metroid since it's taking forever to get on the VC!
