WiiWare Round-Up

Nintendo's long awaited WiiWare service will finally be rolling out in Japan tomorrow. We won't be getting it in North America until May 12th, and I'm honestly counting the days. Between the fantastic things developers are saying about it and the top notch original titles that have been announced for it, how can I not be excited? We haven't really discussed it much on the site over the past few months, so I thought now would be a good time as any to roll out a few trailers and show you all why I'm so psyched about this;

Like I said -- just a taste of what's to come. There are a ton of other games announced that look fantastic but haven't been given a trailer yet -- everything from Lost Winds to Plättchen Twist 'n' Paint. The best part? Most of these games start at 500 Wii points. One hell of a step up in value from the Virtual Console pricing. Anybody else out there excited yet?

And yes -- I know there's a Final Fantasy game hitting at launch for 1500 points. From the description though, it sounds more like a hybrid of Harvest Moon and SimCity than it does a standard FF title. Not my cup of tea, methinks.

in theory yes. But this gives you the opportunity to play with your wii in new fantastic ways. I havent touched my wii in ages. Wait..thats dirty. lolz
