Can you believe it's here already? Each winter, the world's finest nerds voyage to NYC for the annual Blip Festival. This year, in mid-December, Blip will come again, assuring that for three cold northeastern nights, fun will be had by all. Whether or not you're into chiptunes, Blip Fest is truly something you must experience. Witnessing the vast amount of creativity from performers all over the globe is awe inspiring, whether you're dancing along, laughing on the inside, or just staring in disbelief.
Single day tickets ($15) and full festival passes ($40) are now on sale on the official website. Brooklyn's The Bell House is once again playing host, so get ready to ride the F or G trains to Smith & 9 every night on December 17, 18, and 19. No official lineup has been shared yet, but this being my third year at Blip, I've yet to be disappointed. It just keeps getting better and better.
