World of Warcraft dance styles

God I wish I found this clip first... but alas Kotaku scored a huge one here. Not long after I started playing WoW Kevin remarked how he thought the Blizzard guys spent way to much time on the dance animations, they were just to varied and well done (He meant it in a good way).

Well for the 1st time (at least for me) I get to see not only a ton of the dances together, but the source dancing as well. Like the humans dancing paired up with Travolta from Saturday Night Fever.

This is one of my favorite YouTube clips ever. Gresh, stick around for the end... you're gonna love it.

Holy hell, that is FANTASTIC. Unbelievably cool.

I'm so glad that some thought was put into making that video, it deserved and comes off all the better for it.

Oh, and every video needs to have some Alize in it.

Since I haven't been sucked into WoW yet, I don't really get the characters, but as a huge fan of dance on film (and in video games), I love it! The one dancer also reminded me a lot of Kitty N from Bust a Groove, the first dance games I got into. I always played Kitty N (in the black outfit). But I digress...

This might sound silly, but you realize each of the race/gender dances are actual dances? Like one of them does Smooth Criminal, another does Napoleon Dynamite, and so on..

...which if I'd read more carefully I would have caught anyways.

My public flogging is scheduled for 3 o'clock. Make sure to bring the kids -- there'll be free popcorn and balloon rides!
