Xbox Live is Still Broke

It's been over a week and Xbox Live is still broken

Gamers around the world are upset

Microsoft tells us it's working and then tells us it's not

Users are continuing to fret

Is it just Canada experiencing these issues?

Could they really be the only ones?

Unfortunately all the problems are much more widespread

So now we have plenty of questions

Will we be compensated for these widespread outages?

How long will our Xbox Live be down?

When will we be able to play multiplayer again?

And how long can I expect to frown?

All I wanted for Christmas was to relax and play games

With my friends whom also play online

But unfortunately that hasn't happened quite yet

According to the latest headline

Let's hope it gets fixed before I have to go back to work

While I still have plenty of time to play

Otherwise I will just sit here and write bad poetry

To keep my extreme boredom at bay

(I actually haven't had a whole lot of problems with my Xbox Live Service, unlike the majority of the Live population. I just enjoy torturing people with my lack of poem writing skills.)

My XBL service has been sketchy. It tells me I'm not signed in, then it tells me who's online. Strange. Dan found that it actually froze Rock Band and he solved the issue by unplugging the ethernet cable.

Happy New Year indeed!

GH3 froze on me a few times now that I think about it. I've played H3 a few of the nights and didn't have any problems, possibly because I play at lower traffic times (wee hours of the morning). I'm actually surprised at the length of time they have been having issues.

Rock Band locked up on me twice on Saturday night, and everything cleared up instantly when I pulled the ethernet cord.

I had a weird one the other night. It kept telling me my Live wasn't connected, but it also kept cycling the message about my four online friends over and over. I'd reboot and it wouldn't go away. Finally I fired up COD4 and all was well. Loading a game fixed it? Only in America! In soviet Russia, game loads you!
