Living In Azeroth - Chapter 3

Adnil’s current level: 19

As some of our more attentive readers know some of us here at The BBPS work for the NFL and we recently had our big shindig (that Super Bowl thing) and now we’re gearing up for a bunch of crap that I don’t understand why anyone cares about it (the draft) so things have been a bit busy, and I haven’t been able to scratch my WoW itch as much as I’d like. As logic would have it, if I’m not playing there’s nothing to write about.

For the past couple of days I’ve been back in the swing of things despite Crackdown’s best attempts to try and stop me. Obviously it’s strength ability isn’t quite there yet. When I last wrote my main character Adnil was a measly level 11. Now he’s a measly level 19, quickly approaching 20. It seems that soloing with a Shaman is quite easy so far (”soloing” is the act of playing the game alone, as compared to playing in a group with other people) because I can heal myself and I’m pretty powerful. I haven’t run into many problems while going up against a larger number of enemies as I’ve learned to be able to stand on the side, pick them off one by one and work my way in to an area. Unfortunately my spells and attacks all take up a good amount of mana so I have to occasionally stop for a second while my health and mana recharge themselves. Most of the time I just find a copper or tin vein to mine, boosting my mining skill which is close to hitting 100.

One of the things I’ve been working on is getting my jewelcrafting skill higher and higher, it’s around 60 or 70 right now. After I create a ring or trinket I’ve been trying to sell them in the auction house but since the expansion hit the auctions have been flooded with jewelcrafting items. Sometimes my items sell and sometimes they don’t. Even with using the Auctioneer mod it’s still tough finding a good price to sell your wares that’s not too high or too low.

Since the last time I’ve checked in I completed seemingly all there was to do in Azuremyst Isle and I’ve moved on to Bloodmyst Isle. Generally in WoW you work through a zone completing every quest you come across and the difficulty increases as you gain experience enabling you to start handling these higher level quests. So far the quests in Bloodmyst Isle have proved challenging, but not impossible and a little bit boring. I actually went around collecting pears for someone. Couldn’t you have done this yourself you lazy ass? They’re practically right at your feet just lying out in the open! I didn’t even have to kill anything to get them! At least he baked me some pies after I was done. Such is life in the World of Warcraft.

I’m back into a regular rhythm of playing so I’ll be checking in more regularly and I’ll hopefully be able to start putting some more videos together for you to ridicule and enjoy. ‘Til next time…
