To those looking forward to it, a bombshell. To those of us with a huge holiday wish list already this gived some much needed breathing room. Or you just don’t care about the game at all.
But any way you slice it, it’s big news. Grand Theft Auto IV has been pushed back from this fall until at least April 2008. It’s a complete delay, 360 and PS3. No solid reason giving… just developmental delays.
Rockstar is NOT having a easy time catching a break these days.

I also notice looking at the lists they’ve included that Manhunt 2 isn’t on them. Ouch. They are taking quite a hit.

Second quarter of the fiscal year, actually, which is between February and April (as Take-Two’s fiscal year ends on October 31st; thus the first quarter is November through January). So, presuming they keep with that target (as Zelnick said on the conference call), it should be out by the end of April at the latest.
